Obituary of Edward David Hall

Edward David Hall, 72, went home to be with the Lord May 31, 2019.

Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 3:00PM Monday June 3, 2019 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Chandler officiating. The family will visit with friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory.

A native of Mitchell County, Dave was the son of the late Laske Chloe Hughes Hall and John Lewis Hall. He had worked for the City of Greensboro for a number of years as an officer in the Animal Control Division of the Police Department.

Dave was a loving husband, father, grandfather, sibling and friend to anyone that knew him. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him. He loved his garden, and being with his beloved dog “Bella”.

In addition to his parents, Dave also was preceded in death by his infant son, Charles Lee Hall; sisters, Reba DiDinato, Diane Taylor, and Evelyn Hall; and brothers, Douglas Hall and Johnny Hall.

Survivors include his wife Karen Hall of the home; daughter, Melissa Hall Dillon and Jeffrey of Reidsville; sons, David Hall of Pleasant Garden, and Raymond Hall and Julie of Greensboro; grandchildren, Nathaniel Hall, Garrett Hall, Hailey Hall, Ryan Dillon, Justin Dillon, Christy Dillon, and Sarah Dillon; sisters, Sheila Hipp and Tim of Walkertown, and Kim Kopp and John of Mt. Gilead; brothers, Jim Hall of Greensboro, Don Hall and Celia of Greensboro, Randy Hall and Elaine of Burnsville, Jerry Hall of Greensboro, and Mike Hall of Greensboro; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
