Obituary of Juanita "Nita" Cook

Juanita “Nita” Cook, 93, of Greensboro, NC passed away on March 26, 2020. She was born in 1926 to Calvin Lee and Martha Holt of Yanceyville, NC.

A graveside service will be held Monday, March 30, 2020, 1:00 PM, at Lakeview Memorial Park with the Reverend Steve Gunter officiating.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 9 siblings; daughter, Martha Ayers Goins; grand-daughter, Tiffany Ayers McGinnis; and grandson, Robert Ayers.

Those left to cherish her memory include daughter, Sandra “Sandy” Baker of Greensboro, NC; grandson, Chris McBride and wife Katie of Browns Summit, NC; adopted daughter, Dottie Poteat Baird and husband Kenneth of Raleigh, NC; grand-daughter, Angela Ayers Smithey and husband Jason of Randleman, NC; and 8 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethel Baptist Church, 2230 Lees Chapel Road, Greensboro, NC or SPCA of the Triad, 3163 Hines Chapel Road, Greensboro, NC.
