What a sweet man. I did not know Norman but just a few months nor did I know him prior to his illness. Oh how I wish I had known him longer and before his illness. As his care giver within a few days Norman had a piece of my heart. It made my heart happy to sit with him at the kitchen table and let him enjoy looking outside and even after he became bed confined my heart was happy to watch him look out the window and tell me people were walking. He would say "well look there". Rexine shared stories about Norman and although he didn't know me I knew a lot about him and I had no doubt that he was a man that loved is family, loved life and loved Golf. Although he's not here with us anymore it makes my heart smile to know that he is not suffering, his memory is sharp now and that golf course in heaven has got a T-Time for him.
Rexine, Alan, Susan and granddaughters I am praying each day that you all will find peace and comfort during this difficult and sad time. To each of you Norman was a husband, a father, a father in law and a grandfather. I have no doubt that you all loved him unconditionally and he loved you all. I have no doubt that he was so proud of each of you. I have no doubt that if he could have stayed on in this world he would have and I certainly have no doubt that God was ready for him to come home.
God Bless You All.
Angie Keller

We have a lot of wonderful memories of our trips and time spent with Norman and Rexine. He was a great friend for almost 50 years. We really enjoyed our breakfast time on Saturday mornings at the Olympic restaurant. Often, Caroline would join us and Norm would always give her quarters for the coin machines. She loved Norman and Rexine. I played more golf with Norm than anybody. We played all over the country; some great courses and some not so good. He was a great friend, a wonderful family man, a great Christian, a leader in the Kernersvile community but most of all, a great human being, We will miss you friend. Bob and Brenda.
