Sgt. Tim Mabe - Retired posted a condolence

I worked with Ron for many years at the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office. As many others have stated Ron was a very kind person. I never saw him get upset. He treated all with dignity and respect. I remember the time that Ron came to me and needed my help in correcting a mistake that he or Angie (can’t remember which one) had done at home. They had mistakenly erased part of their daughters senior project from a VHS tape. I was able to work with Emily and we re-edited the video. Every time Ron would see me he continued to thank me. My prayers go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I know he will be missed but we will see him again!

My condolences to the family. I worked with Ron at the Sheriff’s Office. He had a smile that would illuminate any room he walked into. Ron exemplified such kindness not only on the outside, but you knew it came from internally.
“He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.” Revelation 21:4 (NLT)
May God Bless.

I was so sad to hear of Ron's passing. I worked at the clerk's office and worked closely with him and the other officer's in the "execution" department as we jokingly referred to it.. he was a kind and gentle soul..always smiling. He touched the lives of many! He was a dedicated officer and it showed in his work. He will be missed.
