Obituary of Vanessa Mariscal Armstrong

Vanessa M. Armstrong, 46, passed away September 21, 2020 following a brief battle with congestive heart failure.

A time of celebration and love for the family will be held as a “walk through” visitation from 4:00PM until 6:00PM Saturday September 26, 2020 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home.

A native of Brooklyn, New York, Vanessa is the daughter of Eldelmira Reyes Mariscal and the late Carlos Mariscal. 

Survivors include her loving husband, David Armstrong of the home; daughter, Sgt. Angelyn Armstrong; sons, TSgt Curtis Armstrong and Becca, Anthony Armstrong, Sgt. Rick Nieves III, SSG Christian Armstrong; grandchildren, Ramses, Aiden, Milan, Skylar, Rebel, Archer, Gotham, and a new granddaughter on the way; mother, Eldelmira Mariscal; sisters, Joann Duck, and Marjorie Hernandez; brother, Thomas Duck and Johanna; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
