Obituary of Martika LeeAnn Larry

Mrs. Martika LeeAnn Larry, 55, of Kernersville passed away on June 20, 2023. Born in Nashville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Lowell and Barbara (Dixon) Pierce and wife of Edward Larry.

Martika was a wonderful wife, mother, and Nana. She loved to spend time helping her children with their sports like baseball and dance. She was also a wonderful mother to all her fur babies (Winston, Jaxon, and Charlotte). She never met a stranger; to meet Tika was to love Tika. She was always the life of the party, especially at her Leap Year birthday parties. Tika was a beautiful soul who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Martika is survived by her loving husband, Edward Larry; her children, Ryan Rodriguez and Marlee Larry; her granddaughter, Rylee Rodriguez; her mother, Barbara Pierce; her brother, Mitchell Loren Pierce of West Palm Beach, FL; her sisters, Melodee Hall of Lebanon, TN, Marissa Pierce of Murfreesboro, TN, and Andrea "Erin" Gagovski of Bowling Green, KY.

In addition to her father, Martika was preceded in death by her brother, Millicent Pierce and her "Granny", Ve Oma Dixon.

The family will receive friends at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service - Kernersville Chapel, 213 W. Mountain Street, Kernersville NC 27284 on Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 5:00PM - 7:00PM with a Celebration of Life Invocation and Service beginning at 5:30PM officiated by Pastor Don Martin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are encouraged to be made to either the National MS Society or the Ronald McDonald House.
