Obituary of Janice Adams Parks

Janice Adams Parks, 84, of Morehead City passed away on June 29, 2023. Born in Wilkes County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Turner and Claudine Adams and wife of Grover Parks. Janice is survived by her loving husband, Grover Parks; her children, Jeffrey Parks and wife, Marcia, and Michelle Minor and husband, Paul; her grandchildren, Byron Parks, Zachary Swartzwelder and Heidi Swartzwelder, and Taylor Minor; her sisters, Lee Wiles and husband, Jerry, Loretta Miller, and Sandra Byrd and husband, Keith; her brother, David Adams and wife, Kay; and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Osborne; her daughter-in-law, Mary Parks, and her grandson, Juan Parks. The family will receive friends at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service, 213 W Mountain St, Kernersville, NC 27284 on Sunday, July 2, 2023 from 1:00PM - 2:00PM. Funeral services will follow beginning at 2:00PM with Pastor Don Martin officiating. Interment will be at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory, Kernersville, North Carolina.
