Obituary of Karen Sue Matherly

Mrs. Karen Sue Matherly, 64, of Madison passed away on June 28, 2023 at her home. Born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to the late Grover and Barbara Dillon.

Karen is survived by her loving husband, Michael Matherly of 27 years; her daughter, Myah Leggett; her son, Bobby Leggett; her brother, Todd Dillon and wife; her sister-in-law, Darlene Dillon; her only living uncle, Don Maxey of Kernersville, NC; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her sisters, Kathy Green and Rita Woodard; her brothers, David Dillon and Danny Dillon; and her son, Brandon Leggett.

Graveside funeral services celebrating Karen's life will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 11:00AM and located at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory, 530 Dobson St, Kernersville, NC 27284 with Dr. Pete Kunkle officiating.
