Obituary of Irene Clubb McBride

Irene Clubb McBride, 95, went home to meet the Lord on August 21, 2023. She was a long time resident of Guilford County. She retired from Lorillard Company after 37 ½ years of dedicated service. She was a loyal member of Bethel Baptist Church of Greensboro. She loved her church and she loved her family. Her grandchildren were very precious to her and she loved them dearly. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed but will remain in our hearts forever.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hobert C. Clubb Sr. and Collie Rose Clubb; five sisters; and two brothers.

She is survived by her son, Larry McBride; daughter, Margaret Bryant; grandchildren, Chris McBride (Katie), David Bryant Jr. (Tonya), Bradley McBride (Brandy), and Andrea Alexander (Chris); great-grandchildren, Caitlyn, Krista, Brittany, Ethan, and Whitney; and great-great grandchildren, Samson, Catalina, Colton, Isaiah, Emma, and Rosie.

Services will be held at the Bethel Baptist Church of Greensboro on Friday, August 25, 2023. Visitation will be from 1:00PM to 2:00PM with the funeral service following.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her honor to the American Heart Association.
