Obituary of Linda Sue Worland

We are sad to announce the death of Linda Sue Worland of Kernersville, NC. She passed peacefully at the age of 70 on December 4th, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones after a long battle with her health.

She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on July 5th, 1953, to Rose Catherine and Leo Nolte who served in the army. She had three sisters, Janis Marie Nolte, Carol Ann Collins, and Mary Katherine Roberts. She was loved and raised by Clifford Jones after her father’s passing.

She is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Vincent Worland; her sister, Janice Marie Nolte; her two sons, Clifford Michael Paton and James Leo Worland; her five grandchildren, Victoria Alexandria Paton, Logan Thompson, Celena Marie Worland, Kimiet Rose Paton, and Katrina Lee Worland; as well as her two great grandchildren, Dawson Charles-Kiger Paton, and Damon Elijah Duncan.

There will be a viewing and service open to the public from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Wednesday, December 13th, 2023, in remembrance of Linda. All are welcome to attend. If you'd like to send flowers you can send them to Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Services Kernersville Chapel.
