Obituary of Douglas Glen Hutchinson

Douglas Glen Hutchinson, 73, passed away on December 23, 2023.  A native of Greensboro, North Carolina, he was born on August 10,1950 to the late Douglas and Charlotte (Farmer) Hutchinson.

He was raised in Guilford Conty and graduated from Ben L. Smith High School. He worked for Lowe's Food for many years until he retired. Glen enjoyed walking, exercise, trips to the beach and enjoying every moment with his family. He was a member of Peace United Church of Christ in Greensboro, NC.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Glenda Talley and daughter in law Staci Hutchinson.

Glen is survived by his sons, David Hutchinson and wife Joy, Brian Hutchinson and wife Ansley, grandchildren, Kaitlyn, CJ, George, Benjamin, Schuyler and Emory, a sister, Sue Brittain and a host of nieces, nephews and a special niece, Karen Brittain.

At Glen's request there will be no formal service at this time. A memorial service will be held at a later date. 
The family would like to thank the caregivers at Morning View & Medi Hospice for their care.
