Obituary of Robert Causey

R. Wayne Causey, 62 died October 10th, 2009 at Adams Farm Rehabilitation Center after a courageous battle with cancer. Wayne was born in Greensboro, NC on November 10, 1946, to the late H. P. and Nellie G. Causey. Wayne was employed for 30+ years at Gilbarco Company before he became disabled. Wayne loved to play golf with his family and co-workers as well as singing and playing his guitar with his friends. In addition to his parents, his brother, Thomas Gregory Causey, preceded him in death. Wayne is survived by his son, Robert (Rob) W. Causey and wife Pam, and his three grandchildren, Ethan, Bryce and Cassie Causey, brother, David L.Causey, and sisters, Linda C. Lucas of Pleasant Garden and Carolyn C. Phillips of Raleigh. Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday at Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Tuesday at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home.
