Obituary of Winnie Brown

Mrs. Winnie Brown, age of Greensboro passed away Sunday September 27, 2009 at Moses Cone Hospital. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Saturday October 3, 2009 at Westminster Gardens with Reverend Alexis Smith officiating. Mrs. Brown was born July 3, 1934 in Guilford County to Ira and Winnie Chapman Thomas. She was a graduate of Greensboro High School and retired from American Express. Survivors include two sons; Dale Still of Thomasville and Douglas Still and wife Susan of Yorktown, VA; three grandchildren; Robert Still, Jennifer Still Harradine, Elizabeth Still; three sisters Ruth Crawford, Irene Smith , and Ava Smith all of Greensboro and a brother Willard Thomas of Greensboro. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8 pm and at Ruth Crawford's home after the service.
