Denise, Loretta & Norm,
I was thinking about all of you tonight and decided to look you up online. My memories of camping with you all with Nana and Papa while in Myrtle Beach and visiting your homes in NC are some of my favorite memories. I was heartbroken to read about Brenda's passing. I had no idea! I would like VERY much to extend my deepest sympathy to you all. She was a LOVELY lady and I have such fond memories of her. Please feel free to get in touch with me and update me on y'all. Love and sympathy from Massachusetts.

Darrell,Denise and Family,
I was so sorry to her of Brenda's passing! She was one of a kind! I met her when I worked
for Dr.C.B.Corey,DDS., as I did the rest of you. We became friends and enjoyed sharing at each appointment about our families, our jobs and life in general. Brenda Way and Cathy Wilson remember her as a favorite patient as well! After I left that practice, we kept in contact and she helped two of my sons find new homes. She sent me pictures of she and Spencer each year. I treasured knowing her. She loved her family and was quick to tell me so. Please know that and may it bring you great comfort! Always, Kathy Roberson

Denise,
Please know that I am praying for you and your family. Remember, to be absent from the body means to be present with the Lord. She has such a beautiful smile and I know that she is smiling down on you and your family. And, to have been called "Honey", I know she was a very sweet person. If she could, she would say, "I'm much better now." Just picture her walking around heaven and singing with the angels. She is now your guardian angel and will be with you at all times. So, just look toward heaven and smile back at her.

Brenda & Darrell were my brother's next lot neighbors at the annual Labor Day Hillsville Flea Market. I met her about 15 years ago and was struck by her friendliness, kindness, upbeat & positive attitude she always possessed. She was proud of her husband, daughter, son-in law, and her grandson. She cared about people...customers, co-workers, friends, family, and acquaintances. Brenda was genuine...she will rest in peace. She was a great example for all to follow. It will be up to us to carry-on her good will in her memory.

I want to extend my sympathies to you all. I loved Honey dearly and I know how sorely she will be missed. She loved nothing more than that grandbaby and I know he will miss her so. I think of her daily since she sold me my house. She knew better than I did what to do and I will be always grateful to her. I enjoyed the time doing her hair and I loved to see what "flash trash" earrings she would have on..probably that pair she turned black with the sharpie.

Denise & Bobby: I am sorry to her about the loss of your Mom. It seems like she has touched my life in so many ways for so long. From the ballfield to working in the office beside me on Pomona. I hope you find comfort in knowing
what a wonderful person she was.

Brenda will be missed more than words can say. In the last few years we have shared alot and it has been a great comfort to me. We did not realize until recently how very much we had in common. What I loved most about Brenda was her upbeat positive attitude. She was an inspiration to all. Darrell, Denise, Bobby and Spencer will be in our thoughts and prayers. Fondly, Ernie and Grace King

Brenda always had that big wonderful smile and a big cup of coffee served with that loving disposition. She always told it like it is in her straight forward manner. You couldn't help but like her. My love to Darrell, Denise, Bobby, and Spencer.
