I am so sorry to hear about John. He seemed like a very nice gentleman when I met Him a couple of years ago. I wish I could have made it to the funeral, but I have a couple of sick girls here at the house. You are always in our thoughts. If there is anything we can do, let us know. We are here in Charlotte.

I am so sorry to hear about Mr Riggins(uncle John) I know he is in a better place now rejoicing with the Lord and Aunt Faye and my precious best friend Brad. Know that the best days of my life were spent with Brad Faye and John in Ivanhoe playing on those mountains. I ride down Glenhaven Drive often remembering all the fun I had growing up in that neighborhood. Blessings and Peace to your entire family. You will always hold a spot in my heart.

Uncle John playing his guitar beside the river.. standing by a thicket of blackberries and raspberries along a path.. holding his grandchildren.. teaching his grandchildren... playing baseball.. having a wonderful time in the mountains. Uncle John was always very sincere and happy with only kind things to say.

John was not not only a wonderfull friend and boss but a very loving husband and father. He is loved by many of his former co workers and will be missed greatly. His love of humor and lightheartedness made being with him a joy. We know he is resting peacefully with his Lord Jesus.

I'll always remember the times at Grandma Jackson's, you playing the guitar and singing those Merle Haggard songs and the gospel hymns. You said a few months ago "those were the good old days". Our family made some great memories. When we lost Kenny you told me not a day goes by that you don't think of the the love ones that you've lost because they live in your heart forever. Now, you will forever live in our hearts, Uncle John. We love you ! Pam, Ron & family
