Obituary of Michael Stevens

Michael David Stevens, 54, of 2521 Netherwood Drive, Greensboro and formerly of Bluefield, WV passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV with Rev. Larry Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Born on July 4, 1958, he was the son of David E. and Marquetta White Stevens of Bluefield. He was employed as an inside rep for State Electric in Greensboro. Survivors in addition to his parents include: wife; Laurie Bruckner Stevens of the home, daughter; Jayme Stevens of the home, sons; Kelsey Stevens and Eric Stevens of the home, one granddaughter who was the light of his life: Maggie Stevens-Gales, sister; Debbie Gardner and husband Donnie of Princeton. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00-11:00 am at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home, 3431 Coal Heritage Road (Bluewell), Bluefield, WV 24701.
