Obituary of Anita Iris Chesser Webb

Mrs. Anita Iris Chesser Webb, 89, of Greensboro, died Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Beacon Place. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, April 30th, 2016 at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Chapel. A native Floridian, she always considered North Carolina her true home. Anita was a registered nurse with a career that spanned fifty years. She loved to travel and took up watercolor painting when in her sixties. She was a loving, proud, independent woman who placed high values on family, friendship, and faith. Mrs. Webb was preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty years, Dell Webb. Survivors include a daughter, Lise, a son, Stacy, his wife, Jeanette, and her beloved grandson, Chance. In lieu of flowers, friends and family are asked to donate to the American Cancer Society, 4-A Oak Branch Drive, Greensboro, NC 27407 or Hospice & Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405.
