Obituary of Kevin Roger Austin

Kevin Roger Austin, 67 of Greensboro, NC passed away April 21, 2016 in Raleigh, NC. There will be a funeral service held Wednesday April 27, 2016, 1pm at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park. Kevin was born September 25, 1948 to the late Everett Rude Austin and Lillian McManus Austin. He worked in maintenance for Steven D. Bell Co. and served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Surviving are one son Doug Austin and wife Kim, three daughters Ginger Vaas and husband Todd, Bridget Austin, Carrie Simmons and husband Tim, one brother Terry Austin and wife Anna, one sister-in-law ZoeAnn Austin, twelve grandchildren, two great grandchildren, five nieces, two nephews, seven great nieces, three great nephews, one great-great nephew and numerous cousins. Preceding him in death along with his parents is one brother Jack Austin. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 12:45 pm at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home prior to the service, and other times at the home of Bridget Austin, 3903 River Ridge Rd., Brown Summit, NC 27214.In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society: 4 Oak Branch Dr. Suite A, Greensboro, NC 27407 .
