Mr Reynolds was like a father to me. He was more than a landlord to me and my children. For five years he looked over us like we were family. He was very loving and supportive to my children and they looked up to him. I remember Mr Reynolds talking to my son about school and joking around with them outside and them just laughing. Everytime I announced Mr Reynolds coming to the house, they would run to the door. He was a amazing man.

He was like a big brother to me as I was growing up. I remember he gave me my first football. He and I shared September 23 as our birthday. When he left Huntington to join the ministry I felt happy for him. I haven't seen him for years until Uncle Woody passed, but I was very glad to see him. He was very encouraging when I spoke to him much like his father Woodrow. He was always very alive and I feel he moved that spirit to those he knew.

Glenda,
Our prayers are with you and the family during this time. I'll share the news with the Friends Baptist Church family in Clemmons. We appreciate all you and Ronnie have done to advance the cause of Christ throughout Ronnie's and your ministry years. The two of you have ministered to so many in times like these and I want you to know how much my Dad and I loved you and Ronnie and many thanks for all your kindness towards us. I know there will be quite a void as you two were teammates in wanting to share Christ's love with a lost and needy world.

Glenda, Ronnie, Nona, Lollis and Rebecca, We were all so sorry to hear about the passing of Ronnie. We have so many fond memories of him and you all. The times we shared with your family years ago in Milton, WV still brings a smile. We know that you will miss him immensely but trust in the Lord. We are guaranteed that there is a meeting place where we will have a great reunion with our loved ones in the presence of Almighty God. Ronnie devoted his life to God's work and we'll see him again someday in Glory. I bet him and Paul are having a big time right now. We'll keep you all and your entire family in our thoughts and prayers. The family of Rev. Paul DeBord (Christina, Steven and Mark)

I don't know Woodrow, but one of the things I loved about Ronnie was the exuberance and joy he had for life and the unwavering enthusiasm he displayed on a daily basis in everything he did. It made him fun to be around. Exasperating, Aggravating, Invigorating but always FUN! He was of course a great messenger for the Master and Ronnie and your entire family were great assets and family examples for our church and community. I love the fact that he is returning to the country he clearly enjoyed so much and will rest near his garden and our Sunday afternoon football field. My sincere condolences Ms. Glenda to you and the family. I hope you will find peace in knowing where Ronnie is walking today! Don't hesitate to call if there is anything we can do for you and know you are ALWAYS welcome in our home.

Glenda, Ronnie Jr., Nona, Lollis & Rebecca,
We wished we had had more time to spend with Mr. Ronnie and you all, but know he is enjoying his new home up there with Mama Nettie & Daddy Earl. Glenda, what a blessing Mr. Ronnie, and your family have been to our family and to Lea Bethel! We pray that God will continue to keep you in his loving care and give you the peace that only God can give you during these times. We are so sorry for your and our loss, but happy for Heaven. I'm sure he's singing "A Double Portion" for them with a great choir backup! We love you all!
