Obituary of William Franklin James

Mr. William Franklin (Frank) James, Jr. of Pittsville, VA died Sunday, December 1, 2013. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home, with the Reverend Billy McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. Mr. James was born January 31, 1933, in Guilford County to William and Daisy Peele James. He served in the US Army during the Korean War and retired from the VA Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. Mr. James is survived by his sons, Bill James and Darrell Lee James and wife Judy; sisters, Barbara Richardson, Debbie Burns and husband James; brother, Herman James; granddaughter, Heather James; special loving niece, Susie Manuel and husband Ricky; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home.
