Obituary of Violet Long Craddock

Mrs. Violet Long Craddock, 83, of Brown Summit died Friday, November 1, 2013. She left for heaven to be with her sons, Alvin and Raymond. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home, with the Reverend Lonnie Foust Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. Mrs. Craddock was born April 3, 1930 in Guilford County to William and Elmer Long. She was married to the late Clarence Craddock. She was a very loving person, and will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sons, Alvin Craddock and Raymond Craddock; sister, Doris Foust; brothers, Robert Long Sr., Raydo Long, and David Long. Mrs. Craddock is survived by her daughter-in-law, Diane Craddock; grandson, Christon Craddock (Kela); special niece Debra Schoolfield; 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom she loved dearly. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Saturday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home.
