Obituary of Lucille Horner Core

Lucille Horner Core, 91, died at Hospice of High Point on October 18, 2013. Lucille was born August 22, 1922 to William and Jesse Horner. She had one brother and five sisters. There will be a graveside service at Lakeview Memorial Park, on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph and her siblings. She is survived by her sons, Gary (Joy); Randy, Ricky (Lori); 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Lucille was a bookkeeper in her husband's accounting practice. She worked hard all of her life and liked to stay busy. Her hobbies were painting pictures and exercising and shopping with her sisters. Her family was her life and she will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home and at other times at her son, Gary's home.
