Obituary of Betty Rose Holt Bolton

Mrs. Betty Rose Holt Bolton, 80, of Greensboro, died Friday September 20, 2013 at Ashton Place surrounded by her loving family. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday at Alamance Presbyterian Church Cemetery, with the Reverend Michael Barrett officiating. Mrs. Bolton was born in Guilford County, on July 10, 1933 to Percy M. and Ora Jobe Holt. She was a homemaker and a member of Alamance Presbyterian Church. She and her husband operated Bolton Electric Company. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, John E. Bolton, Jr.; daughter, Lori Ann Bolton; sister, Marjorie Henderson and brothers, Marvin Holt, Ralph Holt and Harry Holt. Mrs. Bolton is survived by her sons, Timothy "Duane" Bolton (LouJean), John Edward "Eddie" Bolton III (Sharon), "Craig" Alan Bolton (Terri), Michael Douglas "Mike" Bolton (Alice), and Bradley Keith "Brad" Bolton (Lisa); sisters, Ella "Hopie" Whiteley and Peggy Fields(Buddy); brother Jack Holt; ten grandchildren, Joshua Bolton (Jen), Trevor Bolton ( Jessica), Angella Bolton, Anthony Bolton, Jordan Bolton, Jacob Bolton, Trotter Bolton, Tanner Bolton, Jaycie Bolton, and Lily Ann Bolton; two great-grandchildren, Chasidy Bolton, Haleigh Bolton and two great-grandchildren on the way.
