Obituary of Aileen Williams Watts

Our dear mother, Aileen Williams Watts, 78, went home to be with her Lord, family members and grandchildren, Thursday, September 5 2013. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, at Lakeview Memorial Park, with the Reverend Joe Chandler officiating. Mrs. Watts was born November 26, 1934 in Guilford County, to Robert and Edith Weddle Williams. She was married to James Edward Watts. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who adored her pets. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 7 brothers and sisters, and grandchildren John Dunn and Cameron Faircloth. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, James E. Watts; daughters, Sandra N. Dover (Butch) and Gail Lambert (Howard); sons, Duke Watts and Pete Nelson; grandchildren, David Lambert (Marion), Gary Dover (Ashley), Hope Faircloth and Chasity Nelson; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Eva Hill; brothers, Arnold Williams (Barbara) and Kenneth Williams (Thelma). The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 pm Saturday, at the family home. Memorials may be made to Greensboro Hospice & Palliative Care, 2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405. The family would like to thank the staff at Wesley Long Hospital, Dr. Ronald Polite and Greensboro Hospice for their kindness and special care of our mother.
