Obituary of Joseph Hunt

Mr. Joseph Hunt, 80, formerly of Greensboro, died Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Moses Cone Hospital. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Doc Scogging officiating. Mr. Hunt was born in Robeson County, December 30, 1932 to the late Sherman and Mable Lowry Hunt. He was preceded in death by brothers Lynburg, Robert, James, Furman, and Bill and sister, Helen. He leaves to cherish his memories his sons, Thomas Hunt (Leslie) and Johnny Hunt; 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, many step children and step grandchildren; brothers, Homer, Eugene, Alton, Leon, and Thomas; sisters, Barbra Ann, Candace, Myrtle, and Naomi; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and many dear friends and his buddy Stevie.
