Obituary of Joseph Theodore Matthews

Joseph Theodore Matthews, 89, died on April 23, 2013 with his loving family surrounding him. Joseph was born to Lawrence Granville and Florence I. Doyle Matthews in Loogootee, Indiana on August 19, 1923. A Memorial Mass will be held at Saint Pius X Catholic Church on Thursday, April 25th, at 11:00 am. He is survived by his loving wife, Irene; six children and 3 step-children; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. The family request that no flowers be sent, but for memorial contributions be made to Saint Pius, 2210 North Elm Street Greensboro, NC 27408.
