Obituary of Richard Wayne Miles

Mr. Richard Wayne Miles, 71, passed away on Tuesday March 5, 2013 at Moses Cone Hospital. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Saturday at Lakeview Memorial Park with Rev. Shannon Joseph officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park He was born in Guilford County on September 27, 1941 a son to Edward Hollis Miles and Nellie Myrtle Highfill Miles. He was married to Jane Dye Miles. He was a foreman in the heating and air conditioning business and attended New Life Baptist Church in Reidsville. In addition to his parent's he was predeceased by his brother's William Henry Miles and Edward Lee Miles Survivors are his wife of the home; his daughter, Connie M. Warren of High Point: his son and companion Jerry W. Miles and Michelle of Thomasville; his sister, Janet Cockman and husband Ronald of Ruffin; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren The family will receive friends from 10:30 am - 11:00 am Saturday prior to the graveside service.
