Obituary of Mary Belton

Mary Ellington Prestridge Belton passed away peacefully on March 1, 2013 at the age of 90. Mary's funeral service will be Monday at 11:00 am, in the chapel of Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home. The interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.. Mary was a loving person, who gave her best in all situations. She was a very talented seamstress, who taught sewing at GTCC for over 30 years. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her. All can be comforted, knowing that Mary is with her Lord and Savior, now and forever more. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy R. and Ida Mae Mabe Ellington; her daughter, Mary Sae Delaforce; brothers, Paul, Ben (Pauline), Walter (Billie Jean), Guy Junior (Lucy), David (Norma); sisters, Margaret Bean (Basil) and Rebecca Dostie; brother-in-laws, Dewey Nabors and Luther Moore. Mary is survived by her loving husband, Jack H. Belton; sons, Leonard Prestridge (Gerri) and Larry Prestridge (Virginia); sisters, Ruby Nabors, Sudie Moore; brothers, Pete Ellington (Kay), Eugene (Jo) and Daniel (Kay); 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren and nephews and nieces. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 on Sunday at Lambeth-Troxler. The family request that any memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
