Obituary of Miss Aurora Leigh Barefoot

Miss Aurora Leigh "Sissy" Barefoot, age 4, of Franklinville, died Thursday, February 28, 2013. A gathering of family and friends will be held 2 to 4 pm Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home. "Sissy" was born August 14, 2008, in Randolph County to Christina Michelle Hill and Edwin Bailey Barefoot III. She is survived by her mother, Christina Hill and step-father, Steven Bunting; father, Edwin Barefoot; brothers, Cameron Wayne Barefoot and Wyatt Bailey Barefoot; grandparents, Donna and Robert Ferguson, Wayne Hill, Eddie and Susie Barefoot, Mary and Chris Thomas, Bill and Angela Bunting, and Sue Ann Laughlin; uncles, Jason White, Andrew Ferguson, David Burpee, and Jessie Davis; aunts, Tempy Hill, Samantha Kinney, and Kimberly Raub. "Sissy" was a loving and cheerful little girl who never met a stranger. She loved playing soccer and riding the four wheeler with her mom and step-father. She was really close to her brothers, always wrestling with them. She will be sadly missed by her loving family.
