Obituary of Nelson McCormick

Mr. Nelson Wayne McCormick, 59, of Greensboro, died Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home, with the Reverend Whitman Toland officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. Mr. McCormick was born March 12, 1953 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia to the late Charles C. McCormick and to Lucille W. McCormick. Nelson loved his dogs, wrestling, and his video games. Mr. McCormick is survived by his mother Lucille W. McCormick; sisters, Debbie Gaddy (George), Donna Beal (Don), and Doris Haddock (Donnie); brother, Michael McCormick (Mary); several nieces and nephews and his special pal 'Zoey'. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 am Thursday, prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Guilford County Animal Shelter, 4525 Wendover Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27409.
