Obituary of Viola Murray

Mrs. Viola Pegram Murray, 84, of Greensboro, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Whitestone Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held 2:00 Wednesday at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Chapel with the Reverends Ed Allred and Greg Light officiating. Burial will follow at Westminster Gardens. Mrs. Murray was born June 5, 1928, in Greensboro, to the late James and Hortense Michaux Pegram. She was married to the late Lewis (Jack) Murray and had 3 children, Teresa, Jeff, and Wayne. She took great joy in being a housewife and stay-at-home mother. When her children reached school age, she worked and retired from Sears Mail order center. In addition to her parents and husband, Viola is preceded in death by her son Wayne Murray. She is survived by her daughter Teresa Murray, of Jacksonville, FL, a son, Jeff Murray, of Greensboro; grandchildren, Matthew Murray, of Greensboro and Garrett Murray, of Jacksonville, FL. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm Wednesday, prior to the service, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Mt.
