Obituary of Jane Gamble

Mrs. Jane W. Gamble, 86, of Greensboro, died Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at Moses Cone Hospital. A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, at Lawndale Baptist Church, with the Reverend Marion Boling officiating. The family will greet friends following the service. Mrs. Gamble was born December 1, 1926, to Gilbert and Martha Williamson. She was a member of Lawndale Baptist Church and loved to sew. She kept a saying 'Blessed are the Piecemakers, for their children will inherit quilts'. Mrs. Gamble is survived by her sons, Robert Gamble (Phyllis) of Little River, SC and Kim Gamble (Terry), of Hartwell, GA; sister, Betty Miller, of Greensboro; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
