Obituary of Luther Moore

Mr. Luther D. Moore, 77, of Archdale, went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, December 7, 2012. Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm Monday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home, with the Reverend Doug Davis officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 pm prior to the service. Mr. Moore was born August 13, 1935 in Guilford County to Zeno and Alberta Moore. He was the owner and operator of M. B. Plating and a member of Triad Cowboy Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Victor Moore and sister, Betty Mizell. Mr. Moore is survived by his loving wife Sudie E. Moore; daughter, Joetta Canaan (Dave); sons, Richard Moore (April), Paul Moore (Laura), Kevin Moore, and Banner Shoe III (Anita); daughter-in-law, Vickey Moore; sisters, Rena Mae Purcell, Becky Dean, and Juanita Moore; brothers, Floyd Moore and James Moore; grandchildren, Rick Jr., Shannon, Shane, Ashlee, Logan, Jackson, Blake, Keana, and Kaitlin; great-grandchildren, Savannah, Ryan, Grant, and Mckenzie.
