Obituary of Carl Fowler

Greensboro Carl Frederick Fowler, Sr., 74, died November 9, 2012 at home with his loving family surrounding him. Carl was born July 23, 1938 to James Albert and Edna Kate Duff Fowler in Lake City, TN. Carl retired from the Army after 23 years active duty. A memorial service will take place at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home at 4:00pm on Monday November 12. Carl was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Lonnie Baker Fowler; 3 sons, Carl and Judy Fowler, Jr., Jim and Jennifer Fowler, Glen Fowler and his fiancée, Bonnie Newcomb; 2 grandsons, Brennan and Skyler Fowler; 2 granddaughters, Ashlyn and Lauren Travis, 3 step-grandchildren, Dylan Freeman, Austin Humble, Reade Salerno; a brother, James Fowler. The family will receive friends one hour before the service on Monday. The family would like to thank Hospice and especially nurse, Wendy for their exceptional care.
