Obituary of Ralph Hundley

Mr. Ralph H. Hundley, 87, of Greensboro, went home to be with his Lord Tuesday, September 25, 2012. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, at Andrews Memorial Baptist Church, with the Reverend Lloyd Smith and Pastor John Miles officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 am prior to the service. Mr. Hundley was born March 5, 1925, in Rockingham County to Ralph H. and Zela Ludwick Hundley. He served in the US Army during WW II and worked as produce manager for several grocery stores. 'Sug' loved and played baseball and softball. He was a member of Andrews Memorial Baptist Church where he also taught Sunday School. He was dedicated to his faith, family, and church. Mr. Hundley is survived by his daughter, Ann Phillips and husband Pete; son, Stephen Hundley and wife Barbara; sister, Beulah Yarbourgh; brothers, Henry Hundley and Gordon Hundley; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
