Obituary of James Holt

Greensboro James Paul Holt James Paul Holt, 69, died on September 19, 2012 at his home. Paul was born in Guilford County to Samuel Bernice and Hilda Marie Cutting Holt on September 12, 1943. He loved meeting people and was loved by everyone he met. He touched the hearts of many. Paul funeral service will be at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home on Saturday at 12 noon with Reverend Shane Kramer officiating; his interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Sandra Locklear, Kathryn Hammond, Judy Carter; brother, Gene Holt. Paul is survived by a brother, Ernest (Bud) Holt and wife Eunice of Carolina Beach, NC; sisters, Hilda Holt Martin, Marjorie Holt Huggins; a lot of nieces and nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to Paul's care giver of more than 30 years, Jimmy Hart, who stood by him thru everyday of his life since the day they met. They would also like to thank Dr. Shaw of Guilford Medical, Dr. Mohammond and Dr. Moody of Wesley Long Cancer Center. The family will receive friends at Lambeth-Troxler on Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
