Obituary of Franklin Brown

Mr. Franklin W. Brown, 56, of Greensboro, died Sunday, June 3, 2012. A memorial service will be held 6:00 pm Thursday, June 7th at State Street Church of God, in Greensboro, NC Mr. Brown was born in Greensboro September 24, 1955, to the late Jesse and Mary Ruth Brown. He was an avid Football fan and 50 yard line club member at Page High School. He was known as the Cake Man at Create-A-Cake, a talented wedding planner and floral designer. Mr. Brown is survived by his life partner, Stephen Gloster; daughter, Kerri Tucker and husband Jamie; granddaughter, Claire Tucker; sister, Jane Skipworth and husband Wayne; brother, Victor Brown and wife Becky; nieces, Wendy Hayton and husband Chad, and Jennifer Caudle and husband Dwayne; nephew, Marc Skipworth; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Gloster; sisters-in-law, Maggie Stevenson, and husband Samuel III, and Tish Easter; brothers-in-law, Matthew Gloster and wife Aimee, and Andrew Gloster and wife Melanie.
