Obituary of Katie Hill

Ms Katie Hill, 83, of Greensboro, died Friday, March 16, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home with the Reverend Joel Locklear officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. Ms Hill was born December 29, 1928, in Rockingham County, to Robert and Sloane Matthews Hill. She retired from Burlington Industries after over 48 years of service. She was a very active member of Bessemer United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Crabtree and a brother, Robert 'Bob' Hill. Ms Hill is survived by her sisters, Ruby Leonard (Reuben), Lucille Weekley (Robert) and Shelby Jean Hill; brothers, David Hill (Jean), Jimmy Lee Hill (Cathy), and Eddie Hill; several nieces and nephews.
