Obituary of John Pepernik

Mr. John Albert Pepernik, 92, of Greensboro, died Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Beacon Place. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Thursday at Christ Lutheran Church with the Reverend Dr. Dwight Shellaway officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:00 prior to the service. Entombment will follow at Westminster Gardens Mausoleum. Mr. Pepernik was born September 14, 1919 in Binghamton, NY to John R. and Mary Rhomfeld Pepernik. He served in the US Army Air Corps during WW II and was married to the late Della Pepernik. He was a lifetime employee of GAF. He taught other electricians, loved camping, and was a big part of Barber Shopping and SPEBSQSA. After a Barber Shop concert he and his wife Della would put on an 'After Glow'. Mr. Pepernik is survived by his daughter, Judy L. Snyder (Ronald), of Ocala, FL; son, John L. Pepernik, of N. Andover, MA; grandchildren, Cynthia Snyder, April Farmer (Chris), Tracy Griffin (Tim), John S. Pepernik, and 5 great-grandchildren.
