Obituary of Sandy Colosimo

Sandy M. Colosimo, 77 passed away March 3, 2012 in Greensboro, North Carolina. He began his career I tool and die at Tremont Tool and Die in Brooklyn, Ohio and ended it as General Manager for over 35 years at Manufacturer's Service in Brookpark. In his spare time, Sandy enjoyed working in his own tool room at home. Sandy was a member of Parkside Masonic Lodge, Al Koran Shriners, Loyal Order of the Moose, and was The Exalted Ruler of Parma Elks Lodge in 1992. He was a Deacon of Parma South Presbyterian Church. Sandy was preceded in death by his loving wife and soul mate, Evelyn, parents, Emilio and Lucy Colosimo, sister, Bernice Hollo, brothers, Samuel DeMary and Emil Colosimo. He is survived by his beloved and doting sisters, Joan Harlick and Marion Ferraro-Jones, brother-in-law, Charles Jones, sons, John and James, daughter, Lucy England, several grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Sandy enjoyed golfing, fishing and dancing. He and Evelyn loved entertaining and socializing. Sandy never met a stranger and will be sorely missed by many. We wish to express our gratitude to the staff at Greenbrier Senior Living Center for the loving care and great therapy given to Sandy during his recuperation there. They became and extended family to Sandy and us. A memorial service celebrating Sandy's Life will be held a Parma South Presbyterian Church at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 17, 2012.
