Obituary of Louise Pinnix

GREENSBORO Dora Louise Winfree Pinnix, 69, passed away on February 7, 2012 at home. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 11, at 2:00 p.m. at Lakeview Memorial Park in Greensboro with the Reverend Jerry Lankford officiating and Evangelist Steve Whitt providing additional remarks. Louise was born in Summerfield, the daughter of Robert and Frances Winfree. Louise retired from TRW in 2000. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. She was a talented cook and enjoyed making desserts and casseroles for her friends and family. Louise was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved her family and will be deeply missed. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Dennis Pinnix; Sons, Donnie and Obie Harris; Daughter, Robin Sheehan; Stepchildren Dennis Pinnix, Cathy Huffine, Randy Pinnix, and Carol Ward; Sisters, Phyllis White, Jane Elkins, Jerri Trexler, Stepsisters Margie Sewell, Teresa Pegram, and Wanda Winfree; and grandchildren Dalton Harris and John Sheehan. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lambert-Troxler Funeral Home. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro for their compassion and service during this period.
