Obituary of Earnest Elliott

Summerfield-Ernest Gary Elliott, Jr., 46, died at his home Wednesday, February 6, 2013. Graveside Funeral Services will be held 4:00 PM Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Gospel Light Baptist Church Cemetery in Walkertown (behind the old church building), with Rev. Frank Shumate officiating. A native of Forsyth County, Gary was born on May 30, 1966 to the late Ernest Gary Elliott, Sr. and Barbara C. Elliot who survives. Survivors in addition to his mother are son Christopher Dylan Elliott; sisters, Melissa Elliott Long and Chrystal Elliott Dickey and her husband Shawn; brother John Barry Elliott; one niece and one nephew; several aunts and uncles, cousins, friends, and extended family members. Gary also left behind his cousin and good friend, Eugene Butner, also his good friend and companion, Angela “Angie” McBride. The family will visit with friends immediately following the service in the Home Economics room of the Gospel Light Christian School.
