Obituary of Joan LaReva

Biography Kernersville- Joan Marie LaReva, 63, was called to join her heavenly Father on January 2, 2013. She was born May 11, 1949 in Spokane, Washington. She spent family adventures at Sacheem Lake, Washington and lived in many parts of the world. She was a loving mother and grandmother, a devoted Christian, and a ministering advocate for single parents. She was a blessing to all who knew her. Our dear Joan is joining her parents Lester and Dorothy (Watts) LaReva and her beloved brother Lee LaReva in Heaven. She will be greatly missed by sisters Judy Gross and Kathy Hanson, sons Kevin Thompson, Jeffery Drake (Lisa Klaers) and John Drake (Christina Wiggins), and grandsons Phillip Hawkins, T.J. Klaers, Stirling Thompson, Kamryn Drake and Ryan Drake. A Memorial service will be held at the Branch of Hope Church in Kernersville on Tuesday January 8, 2013 at 2:00PM. A gathering at Koerner Place Apartments Community Center will follow. Service Information
