Obituary of Vera Beane

Biography Kernersville-Vera Marsh Beane, 88, went home to be with her Lord December 20, 2012. Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, December 22, 2012 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bobby Roberson officiating. Interment will be in Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. A native of Guilford County, she was the daughter of the late Claudia McFarland and John Lee Marsh. She was married to the late James Carl Beane who died in November, 1983. She was retired from Adams-Millis Hosiery. In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her son, Ben Beane. Survivors include her sons Wesley Beane of Belews Creek, and David Beane and his wife Tammy of Mooresville; grandchildren Kimberly, James, Ashley, Melinda and Jason. The family will visit with friends from 12:00 noon Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
