Obituary of Marjorie Poole

Kernersville-Marjorie Minton Poole, 85, went home to be with her Lord as she was surrounded by her loving family on July 15, 2012. Graveside Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be held 10:00AM Wednesday July 18, 2012 at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. A native of Wilkes County, she was the daughter of the late Maggie Bullis and Alvin Minton. She was married to the late Herbert Wagoner and later married the late Talmadge Monroe Poole. She was retired from the Sara Lee Corporation. In addition to her parents and spouses, she also was preceded in death by a sister Louise Brown and brothers Albert and Floyd Minton. Survivors include her son Wayne Steven Wagoner and Louise of Walkertown; grandchildren Marjorie Draughn and Junior and Wayne Steven Wagoner, Jr. all of Pilot Mountain; step-grandchildren Loretta and Wayne; great-grandchildren William Raymond Draughn and Samantha Gale Draughn; step-great-grandchildren Michelle Brown and Laura Yates; sister Evelyn Elledge and E.C. of N. Wilkesboro; and several special adopted great-grandchildren. The family will visit with friends from 6-8pm Tuesday evening at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home.
