Obituary of Pauline Loy

Walkertown-Pauline Cox Loy, 75, left her earthbound home to be with the Lord and all those that have gone before her, on April 16, 2012. Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be held 10:00AM Thursday April 19, 2012 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel in Kernersville with Dr. Bobby Roberson officiating. Interment will follow in Gardens of Memory in Walkertown A native of Forsyth County, she was the daughter of the late Hattie Mae Southern Cox and George Washington Cox. She was a longtime member of Gospel Light Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend to all who were fortunate to have known her. In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by a sister Mary McBride and a brother Rupert Cox. Survivors include her daughter Annette Loy Vaughn and Philip Pauff of Kernersville; son Wayne Loy and Valerie of Claudville, VA; six grandchildren Cassie Pauff, James Lauck, Natalie Loy, Leah Loy, Carl Smith, and Megan Smith; four great-grandchildren Shyanne Pauff, Logan Lauck, Landon Lauck, and Austin Carl Smith; brothers Roy Cox of Kernersville. The family will visit with friends from 5:30pm until 7:30pm Wednesday evening at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home.
