Obituary of Scott Gordon

Biography Kernersville - Scott Michael Gordon39, died unexpectedly February 5, 2011 at his home. Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 3:00PM Friday February 11, 2011 at First Christian Church with Pastor Pete Kunkle officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Gur Cemetery. A native of Broward County, Florida, Scott was the son of the late Robert Teddy Gordon and Blanche Salvestrini. He was a graduate of Americana Prepatory School in Broward County. He had worked for High Point Police Department and Thomasville Police Department. Currently Scott was working with the Department of Defense as the Lead Canine Director. A true family man, Scott was loved by all who knew him. Survivors include his loving wife Cindy Gordon of the home, sons Dalton Grubb, Chase Gordon, Brandon Gordon, and daughter Hailey Gordon all of the home, mother and stepfather Blanche and James Salvestrini of Kernersville; brother Bob Gordon and Sandra of Climax; mother-in-law and father-in-law Joyce Williams of Jamestown and Thomas Hodges of High Point and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and extended family. The family will visit with friends from 6-8PM Thursday evening at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home and other times at his home.
