The Bibbs-Pitts Family: Carol Ann Pitts and James Bibbs posted a condolence
Sunday, April 24, 2016
We are so sorry for your loss.
We will always remember Sarah. She was such a joyful person. It was always wonderful to visit with her, at our home and hers. She touched the lives of our large extended family: as a child she visited at the farm; grew up with my Mother, Mary Bibbs Pitts, and aunt, Margaret Bibbs Hughey, and was good friends with my other aunts and uncles. As adults, their closeness continued: they visited with her family in Asheville, and they came here for family reunions and other events. We will miss her.
Our family is keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

Robert Arial Wilson, Sr. posted a condolence
Sunday, April 24, 2016
I am deeply sorry for the loss of your Mother. Your grief is shared by all of us who loved Sarah.
Sarah and I had a lifelong bond. We were born in the same hospital, on the same date. Through our lives, we were close, like brother and sister. We enjoyed visiting each other, with mutual friends from our early years at Sterling High School, and at our large family reunions. I will cherish these memories, always.
My health prevents me from joining you to celebrate her life.
Grace, Peace and Blessings,
Robert Arial Wilson, Sr. Cousin in the Vines-Wilson-Hurst-Reese Family of Greenville SC

Ruth L. Burgin posted a condolence
Sunday, April 24, 2016
My deepest sympathy and prayers are with the family of my dearest cousin, Sarah: Raymond Crump; Diane Crump (Eddie) and Caressa Hightower; Marcus (Danette) and Marcus (“Little Mark”) Crump; and brother, DuPont Cunningham (Angela and Eric).
I am deeply saddened and share the sorrow of your loss; a beautiful soul, who lived so full of love, hope and faith.
Gone from our sight, but never our memories; gone from our touch, but never our hearts . . .
Memories of Sarah will become treasures. With all who love you, may your treasured memories give you joy, strength, and encouragement.
I miss Sarah. She was our Grandmother Alice's first born girl grandchild; Uncle Raymond and Aunt Lois's only child; my first role model; and, often, my protector, guide and compass along unknown paths of teenage social growth. Her life has left memories far too impressive to forget. I remember her laughter and joy, love of dance, doing fun things, resiliency, and courageous spirit; devotion to family and friends; and service to church and community.
At life’s passing, she could have said:
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7
Rejoice and Celebrate her life!
As we grieve, let us receive her legacy of love and spiritual gifts.
Prayerfully, I ask for God's love to bless, comfort, guide, protect Sarah’s family; and to give you peace, now and always. Remember, wherever you are, Sarah will always be close.
As she ascended into Heaven, God received her with loving compassionate open arms and welcomed her home to His Holy place of rest, consolation and peace.
God’s Grace! Mercy!
My Love!

Raymond, Diane, and Marcus,
I was so sorry to learn if Miss Sarah's passing. While growing up on South Beaumont and Ridge, my brother, sisters and I always knew what was meant by "it takes a village to raise a child." Your mother was a great part of our village. Our deepest condolences are with you now.
