Obituary of Steven Wayne Venable

Steven Wayne Venable, 53, went home to be with the Lord March 30, 2016. Graveside Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 11:00AM Monday April 4, 2016 at the Mt. Gur Cemetery. Friends and family may gather at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home in Kernersville to visit from 10:00AM until 10:45AM on Monday. Steven was born in Forsyth County to the late Dorothy Ann Venable and Wade Harmon Joyce who survives. Survivors include his son Steven Andrew Venable of Kernersville; daughter Alora Devore and Josh of Fayetteville; five grandchildren; siblings Vickie Hodroff, Billy Ray Venable, Jeffrey Venable, Rickie Venable, Lisa Venable, and Angela Venable; father Wade Harmon Joyce; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
