Obituary of Shawn Crosby

Kernersville-Shawn DeMarlowe Crosby, 42, went home to be with the Lord November 9, 2013. Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 1:00PM Thursday November 14, 2013 at St. Paul’s Methodist Church on Church Street. Interment will follow in the Faith Bible Christian Church Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 11:00AM until time for the service on Thursday. A native of Gastonia, Shawn was the son of Mary Greene and the late Donald Jarrett. He was working at J. Peppers Restaurant at the time his sickness began. In addition to his father, Shawn also was preceded in death by his sister Gala Crosby and a brother William Crosby. Survivors include his mother Mary Greene of Charlotte; his fiancé Beverly Martin of Kernersville; daughter Tiara Glenn of Georgia; granddaughter Mikala; sisters Monicka Smith of Las Vegas, Latoya Greene of Charlotte, Jamie and Jessica Young both of Charlotte; his “Paw Paw” Roosevelt Haizlip; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
